Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF)
The objective of the qualification is to support a role in the workplace and is intended for learners already working in the capacity of supervisor, manager, team leaders or those who are preparing to start work at this level and gives them the knowledge of health and safety.
Course Designed For
This qualification has been designed for managers, supervisors and team leaders, or those who are preparing to start work at this level, to gain a good understanding of health and safety that would be relevant within their workplace
Course Pre-requisites
Learners are required to be 16 years of age or above.
Course Content
- Understand the requirements for health, safety and welfare in the
workplace - Understand the benefits of using a safety management system
- Understand the principles of risk assessment
- Understand the risks and control methods for common workplace hazards
