Introduction
Course Designed For
Sewerage tanker drivers and sewer jetting operatives who wish to demonstrate their practical skills and knowledge in the safe use of high-pressure water jetting equipment and safe working procedures. The course follows Approved Codes of Practice and Manufactures Guidelines.
Each course will pay regard to individual Water Companies specific Safe System of Work to achieve best practice
Course Pre-requisites
Learners must be medically fit to attend this course
Course Content
- Identification of potential hazards through risk assessment,
- Setting up equipment with regard to the safety of operators,
- Using equipment effectively & safely,
- Immediate procedures to adopt in the event of injury by the impact of a water jet nozzle section,
- Precautions to be taken when using a mains water supply,
- Selection of appropriate PPE,
- Knowledge of the Sewer Jetting Code of Practice.

Refresher Training
